The Fastest Way Back
Treatment for Sports Injuries, ACL Surgery, Skeletal Deformities and Foot & Ankle Problems
As an avid cyclist who enjoys tennis and skiing when his feet are back on the ground, Dr. Sanders has seen both sides of an injury and understands firsthand how his patients feel. He knows it´s all about getting up and back out there… fast. Applying his 32 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon, researcher and active sportsman to an accelerated recovery plan, he does just that.
That´s why the Sanders Clinic is “THE FASTEST WAY BACK.”
At the Sanders Clinic, the athletic trainers, therapists and support staff work and play as hard as their patients. They understand how injuries occur and the fastest way to get back out there when they do.
Specializing in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction as well as injuries and conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, and foot and ankle, Dr. Mark Sanders is changing the outcome for athletes and active people everywhere. Renowned for his work with extreme athletes and a published author, his patients come from across the United States, Mexico and Canada for his cutting edge treatment and advanced rehabilitation program.
Dr. Sanders is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a subspecialty certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
With 32 years of experience in accelerated sports injury rehabilitation, including ACL surgery, he and his expert staff of certified trainers and therapists have developed an advanced plan to recondition the injured area from the inside out – while also strengthening the overall body to prevent a recurrence or new injury.
Dr. Sanders specializes in injuries of the ACL – performing over one hundred ACL reconstructions each year with successful, sustaining results.
He also specializes in injuries of the meniscal and articular cartilage and the patellofemoral joint, as well as conditions affecting the foot and ankle and injuries to the shoulder – such as ruptures of the rotator cuff, acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocations, clavicle fractures and recurrent dislocation and subluxation of the shoulder.
Dr. Sanders is not only able to offer a number of surgical treatment options to his patients of every age and activity level, but also a successful non-surgical reconditioning program based on documented patient results, research findings and extensive knowledge.
Utilizing a personalized exercise routine developed and administered by one of his certified trainers as well as a nutritional program initially developed for athletes, Dr. Sanders is able to help the majority of his patients avoid surgery. These same principles are utilized in the rehabilitation of post surgical patients – for optimal results and rapid recovery.
